When superstorm Sandy hit, it took us all by surprise, especially many of us living and working along the waterways of Brooklyn. Brooklynites are still putting their lives back together, and some of the hardest hit are the youngest among us. Enter City Stomp Music — a music organization that gave back by hosting a benefit concert at Littlefields.

City Stomp Kids Benefit for Sandy Victims

Watching a neighborhood get destroyed can make anyone feel powerless but that feeling of powerlessness can be even stronger for the youngest among us. City Stomp is a music program for kids between the ages of 6 months and 4 years old. Recently the City Stomp kids decided to help by performing a live benefit to support families recovering from Hurricane Sandy and we were there.
