Hipster Bar in Bay Ridge: Brooklyn Review

Bay Ridge has traditionally been known for its bars and restaurants so news of another one on the horizon may not seem out of the ordinary. The difference in this case is that the owner is opening a beer garden in a former locksmiths store on fifth avenue, and it’s being called the area’s first hipster bar. The idea has some residents who live nearby fearing all night noise and rowdy bar patrons, but the new owner and several other local establishments say they’re doing what they can to make sure disturbances are minimal.
